Collisions
The LeGran performs poorly in crash safety overall. Its floor and roof are likely to bend excessively even in relatively low-speed collisions, resulting in large amounts of deformation of the passenger cell, and in some cases cabin intrusions. The front and rear sections of the vehicle are also quite rigid relative to the central section of the car, and as a result are far more likely to transfer the force of an accident to the passenger cell rather than absorb it. Furthermore, the front subframe is prone to bending at its connections with the rest of the car, and is prone to folding downward in a crash rather than sliding underneath the floor like most modern cars. In offset crashes, the front of the vehicle stays rigid and forces the passenger cell to compress.

Trivia
The Bruckell LeGran is inspired by many mid-sized sedans of the era, like the Oldsmobile Cutlass and Chrysler LeBaron.
