Following a list with the supported input devices for BeamNG.drive. Choose the vendor of your input device in the table of contents to check if your device is supported by default.

Note: if your controller is not listed here, then we haven't been able to test it, therefore we cannot guarantee if it will work or not. In any case, as long as you can get Windows to properly recognize the device, BeamNG.drive will most probably see it too.

Most PC-compatible devices should work without problems, as long as their drivers are correctly installed and configured.

Terms:

  • PID : Products ID. This is the USB ID of the product
  • VID : Vendor ID. See USB ID database search (and the official VID list)
  • Automatic configuration : Will work without user intervention, as long as the drivers are correctly installed
  • Manual configuration : User needs to manually assign the controls

If your Logitech device does not work in Windows 10, or is recognized as a different model by the drivers:

  1. Uninstall Logitech Gaming software v8.x
  2. Uninstall Logitech Gaming software v5.x
  3. Install Logitech Gaming software v5.10

  2. Launch the game
  3. Press ESC and go to Controlls>Controllers. Press any button on your steering wheel or push the pedals, if the lights switch green under the name of your controller, it means your steering wheel is connected and working, if not, Hold the MODE button on the middle of your steering wheel untill the light on it's left shuts off and a green ligh on it's right turns on.
  4. Wait a few seconds and try again.
