How to install mods

From BeamNG

Video Guide

This video gives visual examples for both 'Automatic / In-game Repository' and 'Manual' methods

In-Game Repository

An in-game repository has been added in version 0.11 of the game. From there it's possible to browse and subscribe/download mods directly in-game.

(to be expanded soon..)

Please make sure that:

What to check More details
The mods is installed in the wrong folder. Common mistake is installing the mod in the wrong place. Please make sure you have used the correct 'mods' folder and have not extracted the ZIP.
The mods you are trying to use are being installed correctly, and in the correct folder, without extracting the mods' content from its ZIP. In Windows 10 in particular, a common mistake is placing the mods inside OneDrive\Documents\BeamNG.Drive\mods, instead of User\Documents\BeamNG.Drive\mods.
The mods you are trying to install are actually compatible with the current version of the game. If a mod is too old, it may be outdated and will no longer be compatible with your newer version.
Mods disappeared after an update / verifying the game files. This can happen if the mods were not installed in the correct place. For example placing the mods directly in the game's installation folder could get them deleted by Steam itself.
