The Ibishu Miramar is a small, light, rear-wheel-drive Japanese sedan, produced by Ibishu from 1963 to 1968. It was released in version 0.5.4 on April 19, 2016. The car features various 1.6L and 1.9L I4 engines as well as different transmission options. As of version 0.18.4, it comes with eight configurations.

Models

Base

The introductory models of the Miramar comes with a 1.6L engine that produces 84 HP at 4050-5200 RPM. A 4-speed manual transmission is standard on this model, but you can get a 2-speed automatic transmission labeled as "Mira-Matic" in the vehicle selector menu. The suspension includes an independent front and live axle rear suspension, where both front and rear use drum brakes. 13x5 steel wheels and 135/95r13 narrow striped white wall tires with dog dish hub caps are used on these models. There is also a 4.56:1 rear differential for this RWD vehicle. Both weight approximately 1045 kg (2304 lbs). The manual goes from 0-60mph in 13.9 seconds while the Mira-Matic completes it in 12.1 seconds.

Luxe

The Luxe versions of the vehicle carry over the same engine, transmission options, differential, weight, and brakes as the base. The changes include body-colored steel wheels as well as whitewall tires with Luxe rear hubcaps. Performance times remain unchanged. The top speed is 94 mph, or 151.6 km/h.

GTz

The GTz version of the sedan features a 1.9L engine that produces 95 HP at 4050-5250 RPM with a 4-speed manual transmission. The differential has been upgraded to the 4.11:1 limited slip version. Other major changes include an improved specialized suspension setup, 13x5.5 wheels with 155/90R13 base tires, and sport seats. Weight has decreased minutely (0.5kg/1lb). This version achieves a 0-60mph performance time in 10.9 seconds.

Street Tuned

The Street Tuned variant, added in the 0.8 update on December 21, 2016, is changed massively compared to the production variants. Sharing the same high-revving 1.9L DOHC engine and 5-speed race manual with the Miramar Race, the Street Tuned comes with race suspension, custom 14x8 TIMS Egota wheels wrapped in 205/55R14 sport tires, fender flares, a 4.56:1 race limited slip differential, and a black-painted roof. Finally, this version of the Miramar has a high-performance radiator to cool down the high-performance engine. This vehicle has a 0-60mph performance of 6.5 seconds, which is slightly faster than the Miramar Race. The Street Tuned also has a slightly heavier weight of 1070 kg(2359 lbs).

Track

The Track version has the most changes of any Ibishu Miramar. It features a 1.9L DOHC engine that produces 200 HP at 6500 RPM with a 5-speed race manual transmission. The differential is now a 4.56:1 race limited slip, and the suspension as well as the brakes include racing parts. Wheels are now 14x8 Wangan-RS rims and tires are 195/65R14 Grip-All racing. The racing body has a roll cage, only a driver's seat, performance radiator, Nomi Mod.307 racing wheel, no headlights, an external oil cooler, fender flares, and a race exhaust. All of these features increase the weight to 1065 kg(2348 lbs). The most powerful of them all, 0-60mph times are achieved in 6.7 seconds.

Trivia

  • "Miramar" is Spanish for "look at the sea." Some have hypothesized that this is in reference to Japanese car manufacturers successfully entering overseas markets during the late 1960s and 1970s.
